Cook (Hospital)

Our client is currently in search of their newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding cooking skills and customer service. An individual who is seeking a career opportunity.

The Hospital Cook is responsible for:

Preparation of foods according to standardized recipes.
Production methods including food preparation for special populations ensure high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service, and storage.
Assists with orienting and training of new team members.
Performs other duties as necessary.
Required Experience is 2 years Cook or 1-year Relevant experience with High School or equivalent or Graduate of a culinary program.

Certifications and Licensures:

Serve Safe - Within 1 year of hire.

Education:

Preferred - High School.
Or Preferred - Technical Culinary.

Experience:

Required - 4 years Cook.
Or - 2 years with High School or equivalent.
Preferred - 6 months in healthcare.

Specific Skills:

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Organizational skills.
Computer Skills appropriate to the position.
Customer Service Skills.

Requirements:

Clean criminal background.
Drug screening administered.
Flexibility with schedule.
Knife cutting skills.
