Job Title: Office Assistant (Part-time)
Location: Frostproof, FL
Pay Rate: $19 – (to be discussed)
Classification: Temp to Perm
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Assistant. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks, Corrigo (CMMS), Ecotrak (CMMS) and general office with the ability to manage day-to-day office operations. The individual will initially be employed as a temp on a part-time basis, working three days a week for five to six hours each day with the potential to transition to a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial (Using QuickBooks):
- Process invoices, receipts, and client statements, warranties, technician audits on invoices and take shipment information.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform basic data entry.
Office Administration & Support:
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
- Manage and maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in administrative support or bookkeeping.
- Organization: Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (degrees or certifications in Business or Accounting are a plus).
- If individual possesses background in HVAC or Electrical that is a Plus.
